Erich Oliphant, CTO Health IT Group

As CTO for the Health IT Group, Erich Oliphant is responsible for the technical strategy for that team. He reviews emerging technologies and how they fit  with the company’s overall growth strategy. He also serves as the lead for the Food and Drug Administration LIMS project.

Oliphant has been working in partnership with Dovèl since the first days of the company.

He has over 20 years experience in the design, development and deployment of large-scale, mission-critical systems for federal civilian, DoD and NGO customers. Oliphant is a true expert in CMMI, Agile / Scrum, SOA, Cloud, Mobile and many related technologies. He is proficient in both CMMI and Agile development practice and is well-versed in leading-edge Open Source technologies. He has been instrumental in the development of Dovel’s “Smart Source” approach, which delivers harmonized, cost-effective solutions based on best-of-breed Open Source/COTS products.
